We accept children into or Nursery from when they are 3 years old. Children can come for morning only or whole days to start with and gradually build their hours up or whatever pattern fits with their needs. Some of our Nursery pupils come full time from the start. 

Our Nursery children are in the same class area as our Reception and Year 1 pupils, but with a very good number of staff to children ratio to ensure that they are cared for and supported according to their age and needs. Our staff are experienced in bringing out the best in our youngest pupils, engaging them in fun and inspiring activities and learning. The younger children have bespoke learning activities but also socialise with all our pupils, who are always delighted to play and encourage our very youngest pupils. In this way the Nursery pupils have a super start as they build their confidence and are inspired by the work of the older pupils – they see great role models in our older pupils’ behaviour and work ethic!  

Phonics, early reading and maths are introduced gently and in a fun practical way so that our Nursery Pupils are definitely ‘school ready’ and there is an easy and smooth transition into Reception when the reach that point.  

We offer 15 and 30 hours funded provision. You can also purchase additional paid sessions (costs detailed in our Charging and Remissions Policy
