Sport at Nun Monkton
We have a real commitment to inter-school sport. Despite having smaller cohorts than our neighbouring schools, we punch well above our weight! Through membership of the local school sports cluster, we compete regularly in competitions including: football, tag rugby, netball, gymnastics, dance, athletics and cross country.
We are really fortunate to have specialist coaches teaching PE alongside class teachers at Nun Monkton. Sporting Influence visits school every week to deliver high quality sports sessions and CPD for staff. We then have specialist coaches such as an England Karate coach, local dance specialists and other such teachers who enrich our sport curriculum and allow pupils to apply skills across a range of sports.
