Mental Health and Wellbeing
At Nun Monkton Foundation Primary School we are committed to supporting the mental and emotional wellbeing of our pupils and staff. We have signed up to the DfE's Wellbeing Charter and the NYCC Healthy Schools Award programme. Our school Wellbeing Champion/Link Governor for Wellbeing/Mental Health First Aider/Senior Mental Health Lead is Lisa Addinall.
Therapy Dog
We are also increadibly lucky to be supported by our school therapy dog who is a qualified PAT dog (Pet as Therapy). These sessions are run as whole class 'circle time' sessions.
